On Monday, December 26, Craig Melvin shared that he’s spending time with his family. He was enjoying the holiday so much that he forgot to upload the annual family Christmas PJ photo on Instagram. The Today Show co-host shared the photo with his 332k followers. Even if Craig is feeling like The Grinch, it means a lot to him to spend time with his family.

Craig continues to be away from the Today Show for the second week. He’s enjoying this time with his family. On Monday, the television personality shared a photo of himself in a green Grinch sweatshirt. He posed alongside his wife Lindsay Czarniak and their two kids — son Delano and daughter Sybil.

“Was so busy enjoying the day I forgot to post our annual pj pic,” Craig Melvin shared with his Instagram followers. “Merry Christmas from the Melvins. Hope everyone is enjoying their family time.”

The entire family lay on the floor as they smiled up at the camera. Craig matched his son with their Grinch sweatshirts. Meanwhile, Lindsay and their daughter wore Whoville sweatshirts. They looked like they had a little too much fun on Christmas Day.

Craig Melvin says goodbye to beloved colleagues

Before he took a break from the Today Show, Craig Melvin said goodbye to his colleagues. He announced that some of his friends were retiring after working decades with the network. Video supervisor Antonio Richardson was one of their longtime employees.

“We want to take a moment here to honor some special folks around here at NBC,” Craig Melvin said. “There is he, there’s Antonio. He is retiring after 37 years. I just got to talk to him a couple of weeks ago, he told me he was hanging it up.”

Craig shared that they want to “wish Antonio well.” He also paid a tribute to Steve Thode. His fellow co-hosts Carson Daly and Sheinelle Jones shared their thoughts as well. They were sad to see their employees retire from the Today Show.
