Former ‘DWTS’ Champ Daniella Karagach Reveals Baby’s Gender
Daniella Karagach danced her way into America’s hearts during her debut in Season 29. The next year, she and her partner Iman Shumpert took home the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 30.
Shortly after Season 31 wrapped up, Daniella Karagach and her husband Pasha Pashkov had an exciting announcement to make. They’re expecting a baby!
The couple gathered their loved ones together this week to celebrate Daniella Karagach’s 30th birthday and reveal their baby’s gender. Keep reading to see if they’re having a little boy or a little girl!
Daniella Karagach & Pasha Pashkov are so excited to be parents
Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov nearly always go on the DWTS tour. Fans thought it was a little odd they weren’t on the cast list this year. It all made sense when they revealed they were expecting a new baby.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the Season 30 champion revealed that they were over the moon about the pregnancy.
“We’ve wanted a family ever since we’ve gotten married and we’ve been married for eight and a half years, so we are more than ready to have a baby,” Daniella told the publication. “We wanted to start planning this year and it just so happened that the timing was absolutely perfect. I actually found out I was pregnant on [DWTS season 31’s] premiere day.”
She and Pasha kept everything a secret from their castmates. Not even Daniella’s Season 31 partner Joe Baena knew that she was expecting during their time on the show.
The couple announces their new baby’s gender
Up until now, Pasha and Daniella hadn’t been speaking much about the baby. Daniella Karagach confirmed she was due around May and posted a few baby bump photos, but they were keeping a lot of information close to their chests. At her 30th birthday party, the couple decided to break the news.
“IT’S A ….. BABY GIRL 💗💗💗🎉🎉🎉” Daniella Karagach captioned the Instagram video of her gender reveal. “Pasha and I are OVER THE MOON to finally share these beautiful news with you!!!! This is a birthday I’ll never forget🥹 I want to thank Pasha for making this day so special for me. From the morning love notes and flowers to the games and festivities at night, thank you for spoiling me with love. I couldn’t have ask for a better day and better people to be surrounded by. Thank you for celebrating me and baby girl!!!”
“A baby gal!!!!!!!👏👏👏👏” Iman Shumpert commented on the post.
“OMG OMG OMG YAY!!! Baby girl 😭💕💕💕” Lindsay Arnold wrote, who is also expecting a baby girl around the same time as Daniella.
