‘DWTS’ Pro Daniella Karagach Dishes On Baby Details
DWTS Season 30 champion Daniella Karagach surprised fans everywhere when she announced her pregnancy this week. She and her husband Pasha Pashkov posted a joint announcement on their Instagram page revealing the special news.
Daniella revealed in her post that she’s due in May, which means she competed while pregnant most of the season this year. That’s definitely not easy to do!
Now, the dancer is sharing details about her pregnancy with her fans. Keep reading and see what’s going on!
Daniella Karagach kept her pregnancy a secret from her castmates up until the very end
Many DWTS fans suspected an announcement of some sort was coming from the couple soon. They almost always join the tour cast, but their names were absent from the cast list this year. Pasha and Daniella aren’t going on tour so they can focus on preparing for the baby’s arrival.
“We’ve wanted a family ever since we’ve gotten married and we’ve been married for eight and a half years, so we are more than ready to have a baby,” Daniella told PEOPLE in a recent interview. “We wanted to start planning this year and it just so happened that the timing was absolutely perfect. I actually found out I was pregnant on [DWTS season 31’s] premiere day.”
She revealed that her partner Joe Baena didn’t know about her pregnancy, but was very gentle with her nevertheless. The Season 30 champion decided to keep competing during the season based on advice from her doctor. Daniella is so active in her regular life that resting and ceasing physical activity would actually take a toll on her body.
Daniella and Pasha opted to tell their castmates about the baby just before the Season 31 finale. Everyone was reportedly delighted to welcome another DWTS baby into the family.
“I feel like it’ll come second nature to us,” Daniella continued. “I cannot wait to watch Pasha become a dad because he is unreal with kids. There’s no anxiety, there’s no stress. I feel a sense of calmness. The baby is going to change our life only for the better.”
As for the gender, they’d love to have a baby girl. However, the couple added that it really didn’t matter as long as they had a healthy baby.
The DWTS cast members are more than just coworkers
So far, it seems like Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov are enjoying their break from DWTS and spending time with loved ones. Sharna Burgess revealed that many of the cast members spent Thanksgiving dinner at Alfonso Ribeiro’s house. They appeared in a photo alongside several of their cast mates.
DWTS fans will definitely miss seeing Daniella and Pasha on tour, but are so excited to hear updates about the baby.
