Christine Brown: Allegations She Stopped Brown Reconciliation Are ‘Offensive’
Kody Brown has claimed that he tried to reconcile with his first wife Meri Brown. However, she called his bluff as she felt that he never put real effort into their marriage. She even recalled a time when she tried to lean in for a kiss when the cameras went down and he turned away. So, that was a clear indication to Meri that nothing was moving forward. Now, in part two of the tell-all, it is alleged that he wanted to reconcile with Meri but Christine halted it.
According to an exclusive clip from Entertainment Tonight, Christine Brown has a very strong reaction to learning that Kody claimed she interfered with the reconciliation. Apparently, Kody’s fourth wife, Robyn knew that he had wanted to try to make it work with Meri. Furthermore, she also knew that Christine had been told about this and was not all too receptive to it. “I didn’t know this was connected to it, but I guess she was falling apart. She was at my house and she was falling apart. I feel so bad, I don’t want to talk about her. But I just kind of saw her flipping out, and I didn’t know what it was about,” Robyn shared.
Per Robyn, had it not been for Christine, a reconciliation between Meri and Kody could have happened. She added: “Yeah, ’cause when Kody says and thinks that kind of stuff, it usually happens. It sucks, right?” Of course, Christine was not a fan of this information because, to her, it was false. “That’s really absolutely frustrating and offensive right now. There’s no way I would not support him and Meri having a great relationship if that’s what they both wanted. That’s absolutely ridiculous,” Christine claims.
More To Say
Christine Brown was nowhere near done with what she had to say upon learning of these allegations. She went on to add: “I think there was something that was twisted in that there was no way I would have ever felt like that. I don’t feel like that. And I am so frustrated that he just doesn’t know me. That he would twist my words to somehow think that I would say anything like that. And that he would say that and spread that lie is what’s frustrating. That’s a lie. That’s not me and I would never do that.”
The fact that Robyn sided with Kody is not hard to believe as his second wife, Janelle has claimed that he only sees things through her eyes. However, Meri says that she was completely in the dark about this alleged reconciliation. She knows nothing about anything or anyone involved in it. Kody maintains that he told his three best friends but Christine would not have any of it.
In the end, Meri has left Kody after seeing the things that he has said about them not having a marriage. He has also shared that he would not be upset if she left and married someone else. Additionally, he and his second wife, Janelle have separated as well so that leaves him with just his fourth and only legal wife, Robyn. Christine exited in early 2021.
