Today show meteorologist Al Roker’s wife Deborah Roberts shared with fans a glimpse of her pre-Christmas celebrations and preparations. Despite the weathercaster’s ongoing health scare, the family is making the most of the holidays and is joyous about Christmas. Al Roker has been in and out of the hospital twice and is recovering from blood clots in his lungs and legs. Deborah Roberts Shares Pics With Her Kids Making Cookies
The ABC journalist recently took to Instagram a day ahead of Christmas festivities to share with fans what they have been doing for the day. The 62-year-old shared pictures of her kids Leila (24) and Nicholas (20) from the kitchen working on shaping up the cookie dough.

The picture showcased the sugar cookies placed on a cookie sheet which was topped with sprinkles. She also shared pictures of her story with everyone placing ornaments with their names on the tree. Other snaps in the series showed their stockings hung by the fireplace and even the snowy ground outside the house.
Al Roker Is Thankful For Being Able To Decorate His Christmas Tree
Last week, both Al and Deborah shared several pictures of their Christmas decorations. As per The Sun, the weathercaster also shared details of his health with his followers on Instagram. He shared that he was thankful and is well enough to be able to decorate his family Christmas tree. The fan-favorite weatherman seemed to be in good spirits in the pictures alongside his wife and their two children.

In another snap, Al was joined by his family and their adorable dog by the big tree as he smiled in a casual grey top. Alongside the images, he put up a caption that read, “So thankful to be well enough to decorate the Roker Family Christmas tree.”
Fans flocked to the comment section as one wrote, “This made my night! Seeing you all together warms my heart. One day at a time with Al’s health journey back! Slow and steady wins the race!”
Another added, “Very happy for you and your family your health is your wealth.”
“Beautiful family!! Glad you’re feeling better Al!” shared a third fan.

Al Roker Bids Adieu To Twitter, Active On Instagram
Recently, Al Roker shared with fans on Twitter that he is taking a break from social media. He wrote, “Thank you Twitter. We had some great times but it’s time to take a break.”

This was followed by the weathercaster deleting his Twitter account. However, he continues to be active on Instagram.
