Does sourpuss Whoopi Goldberg secretly hate being on The View? Fans are starting to think she doesn’t like her role as moderator. This comes amid the accusations that she checked out during the live show. Viewers can’t help but notice when she looks like she wants to be somewhere else.

Whoopi has admitted that her position is a challenge at times. She has discussed some of the struggles she’s faced while being in front of the camera. In a new video, Whoopi appears to be bah humbug about her job. Fans called her out on her behavior.

Dour Whoopi Goldberg complains about her job

The View fans are shocked over Whoopi Goldberg’s behavior yet again. In The View’s new Instagram post, her co-hosts Joy Behar and Ana Navarro shared their favorite Christmas songs. They also baked cookies with their families. Whoopi wasn’t feeling the holiday spirit. She was in the mood for Festivus, which is about airing one’s grievances.

The panelists shared some of their holiday traditions. Whoopi Goldberg shared that she was a sourpuss who doesn’t like to show up to work. She admitted that she loves “leaving here,” meaning The View. The panel is currently on break for the holiday season.

Whoopi was also asked about her “most annoying” holiday tradition. She shared that she doesn’t like “Staying here an extra day.” The View fans called her out for not liking her job. Some of them didn’t feel bad for the actress since she has an easier job than most people.

The View moderator feels uncomfortable on-camera

This comes after Whoopi Goldberg made another shocking confession about her job. As TV Shows Ace reported, she feels uncomfortable being in front of the camera. She appeared on Rob Lowe’s Literally! podcast. The comedian shared that she doesn’t like sitting in the corner of the table because it’s the “worst seat.”

“It’s the worst place to sit,” Whoopi Goldberg explained. “If you’re concerned at all about how you look, it’s the one place that makes you look the biggest is on the end. It’s crazy.”

She’s been The View’s moderator ever since September 2007.  Whoopi took over the position from Rosie O’Donnell. She’s joined by fellow panelists Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Whoopi and her co-hosts are on hiatus for the holidays and will return in early January 2023.
