The reality star recently appeared on the Sister Wives Season 17 Tell-All episode and confirmed that she is no longer Kody’s spiritual wife. Although her relationship with the Brown family patriarch has been non-existent for years, the former couple finally confirmed that they are no longer together. On Wednesday, the 51-year-old shared a quote on her Instagram Story from Marcus Aurelius that read, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”

Although the reality star didn’t really explain what she meant by the cryptic post, she also shared another post of herself holding a leather-bound book over her face. The picture had “There’s so much more to the story,” written across the image.

The Lizzie’s Heritage Inn owner also captioned the picture explaining that not everything is as it seems. She added, “Often, we accept a version of a story as truth because it fits the narrative we’ve created, or what we want to believe. It’s not always about what you’re looking at but also where you’re looking from. Everyone has their own experiences and their own truths. Remember, no matter how flat the pancake is, it always has two sides.”
Fans Claim The Brown Family Created False Narratives For Camera
However, fans in her comment section argued that she never tells her side. They get to hear Kody, Christine, Robyn, and Janelle’s side because they aren’t afraid to say their piece. On the contrary, Meri just hints that there is more to the story, instead of actually sharing her story.

Some even claimed that there is more to the story because the family created false narratives to feed the TLC cameras. They stated that the family hasn’t been honest from the start and everything fans saw was just a ploy for money and to keep stringing the audience.

Throughout the Tell-All episode, Meri has been seen claiming before the host Sukanya Krishnan that she is unaware of things happening in the family. Every time the host hit her with facts or anything said by her sister wives, all she said was that it was news to her.
