Paradise PD is a sitcom that follows an incompetent small-town police department where crime is rampant and beyond control. The final season ended on a good note right before there was a chance that it could become too repetitive and crass. To some, the penultimate season felt a bit stretched out in terms of content and ideas. So, ensuring that the series ends on a high note with Season 4 was probably a wise decision.
Season 4 Packs In Live-Action Elements For The First Time
Luckily for fans, the final season ended on a high note. With some freaky content and an amazing cliffhanger ending, Season 4 surely stuck the chord with fans that will miss it. The fourth season kicks off with Chief Crawford welcoming the son he always wanted. On the other hand, the town is rebuilding a utopia within Dobby.

Season 4 packs in the right amount of insanity and even takes a dig at Elon Musk in the second episode. And one cannot forget James Corden getting ripped in Episode 6. Additionally, for the very first time in the series, there are some live-action elements making the farewell season a special one.
Paradise PD Creator Prefers Animation Over Live-Action
Talking about the end of the series, creator Waco O’Guin shared with What’s On Netflix that he wishes to continue it forever if it were up to them. He further described Season 4 as weird, wild, and wacky. When asked about his favorite scene or gag from the entire series, Waco revealed, “Probably, Bullet trying not to laugh as birds attack Dusty’s B hole.”
The creator also explained his thought process behind adding a live-action scene in the final season. He explained, “Our first show was live-action. We definitely prefer animation but getting the chance to see one of our animated characters in live-action is pretty cool.”

Waco is also currently a part of another adult animated sci-fi sitcom Farzar, created for Netflix. The first season of the series premiered on July 15, 2022, and there is no news of any renewal as of yet.
