James Corden N.Y.C. Restaurant Ban: What Happened?
The Late Late Show With James Corden host was recently banned from a New York City restaurant. However, his ban was lifted after he apologized to the restaurant owner for his alleged actions. What did the television host do? Why did he have to apologize? Keep reading to find out the details.
James Corden Apologizes To Balthazar Restaurant Owner
James can now revisit the Balthazar restaurant, located in New York City. Owned by Keith McNally, the comedian visited the restaurant but was slammed for his alleged bad behavior. Keith took to his Instagram account to set the record straight regarding the matter. As per People, he posted a picture of Corden on his IG along with an explanation of how Corden has apologized.

He wrote, “Having f—ed up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances.”
In an effort to lighten the situation, he also joked about revoking the ban under a funny condition. “So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I’ll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar,” he quipped.
“No, of course not. But….anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazard, “continued McNally.

Finally, in his post, the restaurant owner addressed Corden directly as he wrote, “So Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven.xx.”
As of now, the actor hasn’t responded on the matter.
But, why did James have to apologize to the restaurant owner in the first place?
James Corden Complains Of Hair In His Food
Earlier Monday, McNally took to his Instagram account to talk about the incident. He wrote, “James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago. I don’t often 86 a customer, today I 86’d Corden. It did not make me laugh.”

Talking about the incident that went down at the restaurant, he described that this isn’t the first time the comedian has been rude to the staff. He mentioned that Corden had earlier visited another one of his restaurants, Café Luxembourg, and had similar behavior. This was back in June when Corden was seated at table 61 and found a hair in his food.
James Corden Threatens To Leave A Bad Yelp Review
McNally mentioned that once Corden completed eating his food, he showed the hair to the manager, who was very apologetic about the incident. However, Corden was very nasty to the manager and asked for another round of drinks for free. He even asked the manager not to charge for the previous drinks and threatened to leave a bad yelp review.
Earlier this month, James started yelling at the server stating that he faltered at doing his job. He said, “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!”

McNally revealed that the server was very apologetic and the manager gave him a promo Champagne glass to apologize for the bad food. However, the 44-year-old’s behavior left the server shaken.
