Robin Roberts makes cheeky comment live on-air

During Tuesday’s live broadcast of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts made a cheeky comment about Sam Champion’s height. The two took part in a weather segment together.

It all started when the platinum-blonde weatherman complained about his height. Sam said that he feels short standing next to Robin, who is 5 foot 10 inches. He has to assure people that he’s actually six feet tall.

“Everyone thinks I’m short because I stand next to you so much,” Sam told Robin Roberts. “So, I’m telling people, no I’m six feet tall.”

She told him: “Six feet and worth the climb.” Then she added: “Sam is always a giant in my eyes!”

Robin Roberts’ friend Sam Champion addressed his wardrobe blunder. He filmed himself alongside his co-anchor, Heather O’Rourke, during a live Instagram chat. On Wednesday, December 14, Sam talked about their matching caramel outfits. Heather joked: “On Wednesdays, we wear camel,” reciting a line from Mean Girls in which they wear pink on Wednesdays.

“Is it Camel?” Sam asked her. Heather jokingly asked what day it is and what color camel is. The two co-hosts called each other’s “looks.” Even fans agreed that both of them were looking good in the Instagram video.
