RHOC Braunwyn Windham-Burke Begs For Money, Why?
When viewers last saw Braunwyn, she was coming to terms with who she was. She was staying sober and had realized that she was, in fact, a lesbian. However, that was not going to impact her marriage to Sean as they were committed to raising their seven children together. She would continue to date women as he would have his own life. Yet, that has taken a turn and the two are now divorcing. Unfortunately for Braunwyn, it is not as easy as she thought it would be.
According to The Sun, Braunwyn has just $2900 to her name, per court papers. However, her monthly expenses average around $25,750 with 10K going to rent. Also in the court papers, she explained that she has been financially dependent on her ex for most of her life since she was 20. For the majority of her marriage, she was a stay-at-home mother for their seven children, with the exception of two years.
Apparently, as of late, Sean has stopped helping financially. Therefore, Braunwyn claims that she has had to rely on a family member for monetary assistance. This is not just to aid her but sometimes her kids, as well. More so, Sean’s income is around 65K/month, according to Braunwyn. He works as a President and COO of a company and supposedly earns 10K from an additional company. Compared to her old life, she is struggling while Sean is doing just fine.
What She Is Expecting
The former RHOC star would like Sean to pay her spousal support at a minimum of 10K/month. Additionally, Braunwyn wants him to contribute 10K to her legal fees. This may not work out the way that she wants it to as Sean is actually asking for alimony to be paid to himself. Furthermore, he wants both of them to pay their own legal fees.
Though they had been amicable in the past, Braunwyn revealed that Sean has grown “increasingly aggressive” as has his girlfriend. This has made it a lot harder but she will present this as evidence later at a later date. The former couple will meet for mediation next month and be back in court in February 2023. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and what Braunwyn will receive from Sean if anything.
