‘GMA’ Sam Champion Argues With Lily Collins?

GMA co-anchor Sam Champion argued with Lily Collins. He normally reports the weather on the morning show. However, Sam filled in as co-host on Good Morning America amid the talk show’s shakeup. He was enthusiastic about interviewing Emily in Paris star Lily Collins since he’s such a huge fan of the show. Sam got mad at himself as he made a huge blunder during the live show.

Sam Champion gets excited about Emily in Paris

On Monday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, Sam Champion got excited about the new season of Emily in Paris. He wanted to impress Lily Collins, but he stumbled over his words. The weatherman forgot his words during the live interview. He was so mad that he couldn’t come up with the right word to say as he argued with the star of the show.

Lily appeared on the morning show to promote Season 3 of Emily in Paris. Sam talked passionately about the comedy. He stumbled over his words as he asked the British actress about the drama in the new season. Sam mentioned that the trailer for Season 3 had him asking questions.

“I need to ask a very important question about the trailer,” Sam Champion said. “It made it seem like it was Emily’s cry for help when she trims… I can’t even say it!”

He grimaced as he forgot his words. Sam then blurted: “When she cut her bangs!” Lily laughed as she responded: “Oh! When she cut her bangs.” She wasn’t sure where the conversation was going.

“I mean, how can the show make this like a cry for help, which panicked me?” Sam Champion asked. “Is something wrong?”

Lily graciously answered: “Sometimes people cut their bangs, and everything’s fine!”

Sam argued with her that when women cut, color, or change their hairstyle, something monumental is happening in their lives. Lily insisted that “everything’s fine” with her character. She also mentioned how the character’s hairstyle was “a life choice” for her.

GMA co-host burst into hysterics

Lily explained that she had to make it work for the storyline. In the Netflix series, Emily gets drunk and is in the mood to cut them off. Sam Champion burst into hysterics when she makes the revelation. He exclaimed that it was “slightly different” from what he did to his hair one time.

“I didn’t do it to myself! Thank God!” Sam Champion said.

He joked that someone else did his hair. This comes after the GMA fan favorite shocked fans with his natural hair texture. He shared a photo of himself from the Dancing with the Stars dressing room. Sam wore a black robe that featured the show’s logo on the back. He had bedhead hair in the selfie.

“When #bereal catches you getting ready at 2:30 am,” Sam Champion captioned the photo.
