Sam Champion has fans shocked over his latest statement. He warned fans that he won’t stick aroudn for long. The longtime television personality is having second thoughts and may leave it all behind soon. On Thursday, November 3, he took to Twitter to share an important message with his fanbase.

Sam Champion loves keeping up with his fans and followers on Twitter. However, some people are leaving the social media app in recent weeks. There are whispers as to how the social media site could change. Trolls and blocked accounts could return, and public figures would have to pay $8 per month to have a checkmark next to their name.

The anchor admitted that he had enough of the social media app. Sam Champion took to Twitter to express his frustrations with some of the changes. He feels a big change is on the way. Sam has been enjoying updating his fans on Instagram.

“I don’t know guys… I LOVE the smart and sassy folks I’ve met on this platform…” Sam Champion tweeted before adding, “But.. not sure I will last… can we all meet on IG?”

In a follow-up tweet, the 61-year-old explained the reason for his previous tweet. Sam has noticed an uptick in ads on the platform. He’s even noticed commercials play on his timeline. If you look at threads or responses on Twitter, you’ll notice that there’s an ad.

“Hmmm. Every third Twitter post on my page is an ad,” Sam Champion noted.

Sam Champion could leave Twitter for Instagram?

Sam Champion’s tweets had fans concerned. Most of them love following him on Twitter and seeing his daily morning selfies. Some of them took to his tweet to be him to stay.

  • “You should stay. Don’t let them win.”
  • “I will follow you wherever you land. Love you from your GMA days and you were my first ‘celebrity’ to like and comment on my tweets to you.”
  • “No… don’t leave Sam I don’t use IG that much Twitter can be mean & nasty but just mute or Block & move on.”

Sam Champion admitted that he’s already been blocking accounts “about 100 times today.” However, the Dancing with the Stars alum isn’t leaving just yet. He’s waiting to see how the Twitter takeover plays out. He’s waiting out to see what happens things settle down.

“Curiously watching to see if this ‘new’ platform is for me,” Sam Champion added.
