‘The View’ Producers Ripped For Being Lazy & Uncaring

Whoopi Goldberg gets cut off during holiday segment
During a live broadcast of The View, Whoopi Goldberg gets cut off during a segment. The moderator shared the details of a holiday giveaway to the studio audience and viewers at home. Anyone who takes part in a live taping of the show walks away with extraordinary gifts. Viewers would have to find out how they can get their hands on those gifts on ABC’s website.
There are different gifts offered during each broadcast. The latest one featured Minted, a company creates custom greeting cards and party invitations. Two people came out dressed as elves and danced behind Whoopi as she talked about the gift. Christmas music started playing.
She picked up a microphone as she announced: “Everyone in our audience is going home with a $500 Minted voucher!”
The live studio audience screamed with joy. Whoopi added: “But wait, we’re not done! Every day an at-home viewer will win these great holiday gifts as well!”
She informed fans to go to The View website for more information. Whoopi tried to share more information before closing out the show. However, producers cut her off before she could share more information. Viewers weren’t pleased with the way that segment was handled.
The View producers called out during the live show
The View fans took to Twitter to react to the holiday giveaway. Most of them weren’t impressed. They ripped the producers for being lazy and uncaring about the viewers. It’s easy for the studio audience to get their hands on these gifts.
“Producers clearly couldn’t give a f*** by the end of the show,” one fan wrote.
“Yes, I saw that too!” another added.

This comes after Whoopi called out the producers for choosing frivolous topics. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she admitted that she was bored with the constant Hot Topics involving love and romance. She would rather discuss serious topics such as politics.
