Fans dragged Kim Kardashian into the mounting Balenciaga backlash. Interestingly enough, the Season 2 finale of The Kardashians streamed on Hulu on Thanksgiving Day. The episode focused on Kim’s big walk in the Balenciaga fashion show, which took place at Couture Fashion Week in Paris.

She was nervous about appearing in the show. Even though she became the face of the brand, Kim wasn’t sure if she could walk like her supermodel sister Kendall Jenner. As a result, she had to run to the bathroom several times. As TV Shows Ace reported, Kim also mentioned her “pee anxiety” in that same episode.

Most of the media hasn’t picked up on this story. Balenciaga is in hot water for its new photoshoot, which features toddlers posing with teddy bears dressed in bondage. The couture brand unveiled its holiday campaign which has many critics and human trafficking advocates calling them out for the inappropriate ads. However, that hasn’t stopped some people from advocating for the brand on social media.

On the flip side, some celebrities and reality stars who are coming out against Balenciaga. Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent took to her Instagram Stories to call out the fashion house for their disturbing ads. The Bravo star shared that she was glad she didn’t own any of Balenciaga’s fashion and accessories.

The images came from Balenciaga’s holiday ad campaign as part of its Adidas collection called “Toy Stories.” Some of the photos included a child holding a teddy bear dressed in bondage, and another wearing bondage wear. Balenciaga removed the photos and released a statement. They also deleted their entire Instagram feed as a result of the mounting backlash.

Fans recently called out Kim Kardashian for her involvement with Balenciaga. They feel that the mother of four should denounce the fashion brand. Earlier this year, Balenciaga announced her as the new face of their brand. She attended many of their events and outings and even walked in their fashion show.

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to share a series of photos of herself wearing pieces from the Adidas x Balenciaga collaboration. Some fans think she was shading her ex-husband Kanye West, who was dropped by both brands for his series of anti-Semitic remarks.

Fans took to Reddit to slam the 42-year-old for supporting the brand amid the backlash. Fans are demanding that Kim Kardashian removes Balenciaga from her wardrobe and repertoire. However, others aren’t convinced that she will do it. One called her “ignorant and vapid.” Another has hope that Kim will “get called out for sexualizing her own daughters.”
