‘Today’ Craig Melvin Sneaks Off Live Show?

Today co-host Craig Melvin tries to sneak out of the live show. He got caught red-handed and was lured back in. The morning show tried to make his way off the set. One of his co-hosts stopped him in his tracks. Read on to learn more and see what happened next.

On Wednesday’s live broadcast of the Today Show, Craig Melvin talked about the Thanksgiving Table Hacks. Guest Shannen Doherty (not the Charmed star) is the host of the popular TikTok online show, At Home with Shannon. She shared some of the simplest ways to make your holiday dinner easier.

Some of those tips included using craft paper instead of a tablecloth at the kids’ table. This allows them to color on the table inc case they get bored waiting for dinner to start. It’s also an easy-to-clean option if you want to reuse it for Christmas.

Another idea is to use a full-length mirror as a table runner to make the big table look intriguing with the food and decorations on it. While most of the tips were interesting, Craig Melvin looked bored. At one point, he tried to sneak out of the Today Show segment. He tried to make a break for it but he was stopped by one of his fellow co-hosts.

“That’s a great idea,” Craig Melvin sarcastically said under his breath as he backed away.

Shannon stopped him and lured him back onto the set. “We also have quickly, just a few more things,” she mentioned to him. Craig Melvin admitted defeat. He let out an “Oh” before returning to the segment.

The interesting thing was that he wasn’t joking. Craig was actually bored with the segment. He tends to get bored during the live show when they focus on fashion or cooking. This isn’t his first time showing how he really feels.

Today Show co-host embarrassed on live TV

Craig Melvin’s last awkward segment took place in August. He didn’t look forward to a segment that talked about the latest fall fashions. Jill Martin returned to the set of the Today Show to mention that week’s clothing and accessory deals.

Much to Craig’s chagrin, they discussed lingerie. Craig Melvin looked visibly uncomfortable during that part of the segment. He didn’t like standing behind mannequins that wore bras. Craig was embarrassed when Jill held up one of the bras to her own bust.
