‘Today’: Unfolding Carson Daly’s Dating Drama & History
Carson Daly has become well-known as a host on Today and a TV personality over the years. However, his dating life has been in the spotlight for some time now, and, let’s just say, it’s been a wild ride. Here’s a look at Daly’s dating history and some of the dramatic stories behind it.
Carson Daly And Jennifer Love Hewitt
Unfortunately for Carson Daly and most celebrities, much of his heartbreak has been in the public eye. The dating drama truly started when he was with Jennifer Love Hewitt. The I Know What You Did Last Summer star and Carson dated during the late 1990s.

At the time, Carson was working at MTV and the couple met in the MTV “scene.” They fell head over heels for each other. Carson even got Jennifer’s name tattooed on him, but their romance came to a swift end. According to Daly, he woke up one day to learn that he and Hewitt were broken up.
When discussing the incident in 2000, Carson said, “I woke up to Howard Stern telling me my relationship with [Jennifer] was over.” He then went on to tell People magazine that he started to hear the news on E! and other news outlets. That was the first he’d heard of it, but it was true.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was confronted by Carson who asked why they couldn’t have handled things in private before she spoke to her publicist. At the time, he said he felt publicly humiliated.
Other Public Love Affairs That Came To An End
Tara Reid allegedly made Carson Daly cover up Jennifer Love Hewitt’s name on his leg. Where the name once was is covered by a crab claw pocket knife tattoo. Reid and Daly were not together for a long period of time though, and he seems to be glad about it.
In 2013, Carson told ELLE that he “dodged a bullet” when the relationship with Reid dissolved. When they got together, she was only interested in partying when she wasn’t filming.
Other women in Carson’s rumored dating history include Christina Aguilera, Ashlee Simpson, and Jaime Pressly. None of those relationships ever seemed to work out though.
It was then that the current Today show host realized that he was looking in the wrong place for love. Carson decided to search for more “normal people” to date, admitting that dating celebrities just wasn’t for him.
Carson Daly’s Happily Ever After Is Here
Despite his troubled dating history, Carson Daly has found his happily ever after. In 2002, while there were still dating rumors surrounding Carson, he met his wife Siri Pinter.

The pair met on Last Call With Carson Daly. Pinter is a producer, so while she provided Daly with the “normal” he was looking for, they ran in many of the same circles. Initially, they kept their relationship a secret but dated publicly for several years before getting married in 2015.
