Netflix Original Series ‘Berserk’ Premiere Date Revealed
The dark fantasy manga series, Berserk came to a halt after the tragic death of its creator, Kentaro Miura. However, given its fan following, the series was revived by Studio Gaga artists alongside writer Kouji Mori. Apart from the new chapters released regularly, the franchise has also released an anime that sews the stories of its three anime movies presented as the Berserk: Memorial Edition series. 1997 Berserk Series Adapted The Golden Age Arc
Eight years after the manga’s premiere on Young Animal, the first Berserk anime series premiered on the small screen in 1997. The series mostly covered the Golden Age Arc that dictates the story of how Guts became a part of the Band of the Hawk.

It also trails the story of how he met Casca and Griffith while eventually finding himself in a life of despair filled with some of the most terrifying demons in the history of anime. No doubt, the original series was the best adaptation of Kentaro Miura’s manga series.

Now, Netflix is soon to air its original take on the anime series. It already houses the movie trilogy. So, anime enthusiasts that haven’t yet watched the Berserk movie franchise can watch the same on the streamer.
When Does The Netflix Original Berserk Premiere?
As per ComicBook, the Netflix original anime series is slated to arrive on the streaming platform on December 1, 2022, with a total of 25 episodes. The first TV series ended on a cliffhanger, so fans might want to see where Guts and company end up after the devastating events that happened after Eclipse, the sacrificial ceremony.

Although the anime hasn’t confirmed the Netflix adaptation, a countdown clock is seen on the official website. This leaves fans wondering what will be announced in 28 days’ time. Although nothing is really set in stone, there are several stories from the manga that needs an anime adaptation.

Set in medieval Europe, the story of this dark fantasy world centers on Guts, a lone swordsman. He works alongside Griffith, a mercenary band leader called the Band Of The Hawk. The series explores a wide range of topics and themes including destiny, free will, and causality.
