What Was The 1988 Willow Movie About?
Directed by Ron Howard from a story written by Lucas, the Willow series became a fan-favorite for the high fantasy theme it carried. Nelwyn’s dwarf Willow, played by Warwick Davis rescues and safeguards the infant named Elora Danan. She is sought after by the evil Queen Bavmorda played by Jean Marsh after a prophecy predicted that the baby would one day overthrow her.

As is with most fantasy movies, the heroes always prevail. So, something similar happened even after a lot of obstacles the duo faced in their journey to get away from the evil Queen. However, fans weren’t satisfied with how Willow’s story ended and felt the dwarf had a lot more to offer.

Warwick Davis Returns As The Titular Character For Willow Series
Warwick Davis returns as the brave, diminutive sorcerer named Willow Ufgood and the new trailer seems very promising. The sequel will involve the titular hero tracking down the now-adult Elora. Her status as the realm’s future savior is still active. However, the only problem is she herself doesn’t know that she is responsible for an entire realm. The new series will explore the complications that surface as the sorcerer tries to find her and make her aware of what’s to unfold in the future.
