Will ‘She-Hulk’ Get A Second Season On Disney+?

She-Hulk

She-Hulk just finished up its first season on Disney+. By the finale, the show was as different as any superhero show ever created. Even the off-the-wall Legion didn’t do as much to go as meta as the first season of Jennifer Walter’s sitcom about an attorney who becomes a Hulk.

However, now that the show is over, fans want to know if there will be a second season. While the show hinted that there could be a second season, it is not exactly set in stone yet.

Will She-Hulk get a second season?

The first Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Disney+ arrived in January 2021 with WandaVision. Since that series, there have been eight shows with She-Hulk as the eighth. One was animated with What If…? Three of them saw new heroes headlining the shows with Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The other four shows were based on characters from the movies.

With all these shows, only one picked up an immediate renewal. When Loki ended its first season, it showed there would be a second season, but that was it. What If…? showed there could be a second season, and it eventually picked up a two-season renewal, but Marvel had to see its numbers before announcing it.

WandaVision was the top critically acclaimed, but it didn’t get a second season. Instead, Wanda returned for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessFalcon and the Winter Soldier will also continue in the next Captain America movie. Moon Knight is not expected to get a second season while Ms. Marvel will next appear in the movie The Marvels.

This means the odds are against a second season for She-Hulk, but there are rumors it will get a second season. Some of these came on the finale.

She-Hulk season finale hints at a second season

There was a scene in She-Hulk where Jennifer Walters was talking to the robot running Marvel K.E.V.I.N. about her future. She asked if she would appear on the big screen and K.E.V.I.N. said no. However, when she went to approach the show’s writers, they were talking about their ideas for a second season of She-Hulk. She-Hulk herself told K.E.V.I.N. that she had ideas for a second season, which should make fans of her season happy.

“Coming from television, you can never guarantee that you’re going to get another season with a first season show,” creator Jessica Gao told Hero Nation. “You do have to tell some sort of satisfying arc in one season just in case, and then of course you leave the door open for possibilities for a second, third, and fourth season. So that was kind of my mental approach to it.”

She-Hulk and Daredevil

Even if She-Hulk doesn’t get a second season, she will appear again in some form. There are rumors she could show up in Daredevil’s upcoming Disney+ seriesBorn Again. Whatever happens, hopefully She-Hulk will be back sooner rather than later in the MCU.
