‘The View’ Joy Behar Fat Shames On Air, Fans Not Amused

Joy Behar fat-shamed someone live on-air. The View fans are not amused. She did it alongside her co-host, Ana Navarro. During a segment of the morning show, the panel discussed people who keep their exes’ nude photos. The part-time newbie joined the table for the steamy discussion on Friday, October 28.

Ana and Joy were joined alongside Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. During the second segment of the broadcast, the ladies talked about a news story that first appeared in New York Magazine’s The Cut. Joy asked the ladies if they feel “obligated” to delete their exes’ nudes.

Joy Behar & Ana Navarro accused of body-shaming

Ana Navarro was the first to speak up on the topic. She admitted that she doesn’t take nude photos because she’s “been fat my entire life.” The co-host never felt “skinny enough” to take suggestive photos. Joy Behar joked that there are “chubby chasers” who like bigger women.

She asked one of the crew members who were behind the scenes. Joy asked: “You don’t mind a chubby girl, do you?” The producer joked that he couldn’t hear her. The View co-hosts laughed at the playful banter. However, the viewers at home didn’t find the segment funny. Some of them took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the comedian’s “inappropriate” words.

The View co-host makes a naughty confession

During that same segment, Sara Haines made a naughty confession. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, The View co-host shared that she sent her ex-boyfriend nudes in the past. She took them when she was 25 years old — long before smartphones existed. Sara said it was easier to take physical photos.

She also trusts her ex-boyfriend to not leak them without her consent. Sara feels that it’s not as easy to share physical photos. She also argued that they could easily be cut up and discarded. The View panel was in shock over her racy confession.

Sunny Hostin was the most shocked. She gave the camera an interesting expression. Some of them admitted that they never sent nudes to their exes. Only Alyssa shared that she sent her husband suggestive photos while they were away on travel.
