She enquired the guest what his predictions for the upcoming elections were. However, as he was about to start talking, Joy halted him and asked, “…When your reporters say they’re worried about gas. They’re worried about that, do they follow up and ask if people think the Republicans will be able to fix this?”

Joy Behar Interrupts Guest Panelist Rick Klein

Rick started explaining the situation when Joy interrupted again and said, “It’s a follow-up question.”

“Do you want the job? We’ll send you out there right now,” joked Rick as he continued his explanations.

However, Joy conveniently ignored the joke and asked her question stating it wasn’t an argument, but a follow-up question during the tense on-air moment.

Joy Behar Celebrates 80th Birthday With No Plans To Retire

Earlier this month, Joy celebrated her 80th birthday and doesn’t wish to retire anytime soon. The View panelist first appeared on the show in 1997 and has been a part of the talk show ever since. However, given how long she has been associated with the ABC show, she still doesn’t wish to opt for retirement.

Talking to People, she said, “I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while. I have no plans to retire.”

As she gushed over her time at the morning talk show, she said, “It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways. Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in the daytime. Most-watched! I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”
