‘The View’ Sunny Hostin Attacks Ana Navarro, Whoopi Breaks It Up
Monday’s episode on The View took a nasty turn as the co-hosts Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin locked horns on-air. Sunny Hostin And Ana Navarro Quibble Over Politics
The September 26 episode started with the host debating in a political segment that slowly transitioned into a bitter altercation between the newscasters. As they discussed whether it is best for the US citizens to start looking for a third political party, Sunny took a jibe at the Republicans in the set. As per The Sun, both Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro are affiliated with the Republican Party.

Sunny especially directed her statement towards Ana and said, “It’s a party of white supremacy, it’s a party of fascism, it’s a party of all the things that are counter to our democracy.”
“One of my issues has always been, I don’t understand how a Latina woman, who even left from Nicaragua, could be a part of a party-” she continued.
Whoopi Goldberg Saves The Day At The View
This is when Ana couldn’t hear any more from the 53-year-old and cut her off as she said, “Because when I came to this country, the Republican Party was the party that stood against communism, and that is something that’s ingrained in me.”
Aiming at Sunny she said, “The same way being Catholic is ingrained in you.”

A silent spectator Whoopi Goldberg thought the two had bantered for long enough and decided to end the war of words right there. She chimed in, “But, wait! Listen! All of this has nothing to do with the question.”
“Which is?” asked Ana.
Whoopi answered, “The question is, given what the party has become, is it time for us to consider a third party that goes more to what Republicans are looking for?”
