The Know Your Meme online database dubbed it as the “Fake Spirit Halloween Costumes.” The memes first came out in 2019 when a costume of a Guy Fieri Spirit Halloween costume went viral. However, the photo itself was doctored to look like the design of the packaging.

The internet trend came back this month. People have posted knock-off costumes that are related to pop culture icons and events. Each meme features the original Spirit Halloween packaging and name. Kelly Ripa hopped on the trend by unveiling her own Halloween costume.

She hinted that she may transform into The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. Kelly Ripa even gave fans a glimpse at her costume, which she posted on the Spirit Halloween meme. The photo showed her rocking big brown hair and a rhinestone crown.
