Lala Kent Celebrates Her Independence With Daughter Ocean

Lala Kent is celebrating her “Independence Day” with her daughter Ocean Emmett. On Thursday, October 27, the Vanderpump Rules star took to her Instagram Story to share a beautiful photo with an encouraging message. Lala Kent posted a photo of herself with her one-year-old daughter, Ocean Emmett, at the beach. She also shared a heartwarming message with her fans. Lala revealed that today is her “Independence Day.” A year ago today, she split from her ex-fiance, Randall Emmett amid the cheating rumors.

“Happy Independence Day to me. A year ago today I had my ducks in a row and it was time to execute my game plan of escaping a toxic and unsafe place,” Lala Kent wrote in her Instagram Story. “Even writing this, my heart has started pounding. I didn’t know what my future would hold. I lost 30 pounds from the stress and trauma.”

The Bravo star didn’t give up on her plans. When it was too overwhelming, Lala shared that she handed it “over to God and the universe.” She knew that she was being guided and comforted. In her message, Lala thanked her friends and her mom for being there for her.

“Without you, I would have been stuck,” Lala Kent continued in her lengthy post. “Today, I feel happy. It is one day at a time until I reach resolution for the well-being of Ocean.”

Today was the day when Lala walked out of Randall Emmett’s life. She moved out of their Bel-Air home and into the Beverly Hills Hotel. Since then, she moved into an apartment in Los Angeles. This happened around the time when photos of Randall with three other women in Nashville circulated on social media. Lala claims he cheated on her several women throughout their relationship — an accusation he denies.

On Wednesday, October 26, Lala Kent shared three photos of herself with her “main” crew. The first photo featured her with her co-star and friend Katie Maloney. Lala wore a sparkly black bra with a matching skirt. Meanwhile, Katie wore a maroon dress.

The next photo included Lala and Katie with Ariana Madix and Jeremiah Smith. Katie and Lala also posed together in the third and final photo. She captioned the Instagram post: “Mains with my Mains. Season 10 coming soon!!!!” At the time of this writing, Vanderpump Rules Season 10 doesn’t have a premiere date.
