Bringing Up Bates fans think this is inauthentic and others think she doesn’t have anything interesting to share in between ads. And some of her followers are beginning to get fed up with it.
Katie Bates Clark gives fans a peek into her life.
On her Instagram Stories this week, Katie shared a series of photos with fans as she cleaned her house. She showed herself wiping down the bathroom mirror, cleaning the baseboards, and more. You can check out some of the snaps below.
Then, when Katie showed off her vacuum, she made sure to share a link to it. It’s possible that she was being paid to promote the vacuum.

After seeing Katie’s cleaning Instagram Stories, fans rushed to Reddit to discuss them. And many have negative things to say about her latest posts. Some fans point out that they generally enjoy watching cleaning videos or learning home organization hacks. But Katie’s posts were especially boring. One even describes her content as “dull.”
One Reddit user writes, “Wow, what a life.”
One Bringing Up Bates fan says, “I’m so over Katie and Travis! Everything they post is so boring, but wait there’s more…it’s actually an AD.”
Someone else chimes in, “Her entire presence on social media is one big money grab for anything and everything she can link.”
Fans will have to wait and see whether Katie changes the content she posts on social media. Many of her sisters and sisters-in-law promote products on their Instagram pages, but they try to make the ads more natural. And they also post a variety of content so they aren’t only sharing ads.
