Recently, sources reported that Netflix had already greenlit the next two seasons after Season 3. The plan is to film both these seasons back-to-back. However, it is to be noted that Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed the news regarding Seasons 4 and 5. Director Stephen Surjik previously hinted that rough plans for the two seasons had started early in April 2022. He stated, “The writers and producers mapped out Season 4… I don’t know if I’m part of that mapping program, but at least they told me that they’re mapping it out.”
Season 3 Wrapped Up Filming In September
Apart from Season 1, the series attempted to adapt one book per season from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel saga. The first season adapted both Sword of Destiny and The Last Wish from the novel saga. Next, Season 2 adapted Blood Of Elves while Season 3 is expected to adapt Time Of Contempt. This leaves The Tower Of The Shallow and Baptism Of Fire for the next two seasons.
