‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Unleashes Her Fury On Co-Hosts
The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at her co-hosts in an uncomfortable live TV moment during the tag sale by Joy Behar. The 66-year-old is known for her short temper which has especially been seen in recent episodes. What happened that got Whoopi so angry? Keep reading to find out.
Sunny Hostin & Whoopi Goldberg Argue Over A Signage
In honor of her birthday, Joy Behar organized a tag sale of some of her belongings and was joined by her co-hosts. One of her auctioned items included an old-fashioned kitchen sign that read, “Potatoes.” This was a sign that she purchased from Martha Stewart’s tag sales held earlier this year.

As soon as Sunny Hostin saw the sign, she rolled her eyes in disgust stating that she advised Joy not to purchase this sign at the sale. The co-hosts went back and forth over the signage for some time after which Whoopi just couldn’t take it anymore. The actress snapped at her co-hosts and buzzed in annoyance as she said, “Ten bucks for the sign just to stop this conversation.”

But her fury didn’t stop there! Sunny also showed her interest in purchasing the sign. Given as Whoopi had already agreed to purchase the sign, she seemed disgruntled at the fact that Sunny also offered. Once again, she lashed out, staking claim over the decoration.
The View Whoopi Loses Calm Over A TikTok Trend
However, this isn’t a one-off incident where Whoopi lost her calm. Earlier this week, the comedian came very close to dropping the F-bomb on live TV. A topic during Tuesday’s show touched a sore spot with the 66-year-old, especially after her opinions differed from that of her co-hosts.

In the segment, as reported by The Sun, the moderator introduced a new TikTok trend. It was about the butter board which is all about smothering butter and some other toppings on top of a wooden board and digging in straight.
However, she didn’t appear to care a lot about the topic and threw it over to her co-hosts to discuss the same. Soon after, she had to jump in after Sunny Hostin suggested something that the comedian was completely against. Sunny suggested that the butter board needed more salt and also some prosciutto.

However, this didn’t sit well with Whoopi as she insisted, “Then it’s not a butter board! You don’t put prosciutto with butter.”
“Nah, you gotta put it because you have—“ replied Sunny who was cut off mid-statement as Whoopi continued her protest and said, “No, you don’t. No, no, you don’t put prosciutto with butter! What the –!” The furious moderator successfully cut herself off right before she dropped an F-bomb.

I’m not sure what the problem is I’ve never seen the show but it’s my guess there’s a problem with the fact that the cast is haughty and all the words similar

I love Whoopi! She is great! I love them all. Whoopi is just more serious and no nonsense.
Whoopi has a psychological issue that needs to be addressed…she’s not serious, she’s constantly angry, ….it’s a downer of a program, and it’s been like that for a long while.
With all the SERIOUS issues the world is dealing with, just like Whoopi I would go off on discussing what goes on a butter board. Growing up is hard to do when you are so privileged. Maybe a change in some of the host would help the show be worth watching. Some regular women with regular issues. Who really cares about a butter board. Get real!
