‘Live!’ Ryan Seacrest Shares Health News With Fans
Ryan Seacrest shared a health update with his fans. On Tuesday, October 11, he took to his Instagram Story to explain why he’s been absent from recent tapings of Live with Kelly and Ryan. This comes amid the ever-growing concerns about this health and well-being. Read on to learn more.
Fans concerned about busy AI host
There have been growing concerns about Ryan Seacrest’s health for the past few years. Some fans are convinced that the busy American Idol host is hiding his medical issues. However, he’s been open about his health issues. Back in September, Ryan admitted that he has a “bad left knee.”
It was the first time he was open about it. Ryan couldn’t take part in a challenge with his co-host. So, he had to forfeit the segment. Concerns about his health first took place in 2020, when Ryan co-hosted Live! from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some fans noticed something wrong with his eye.
They claimed that one of Ryan Seacrest’s eyes drooped and his speech slurred. They feared that the host was going to have a stroke live on-air. However, Ryan’s reps denied the claims and said he was just exhausted from working. The lockdown was a good time for him to take a step back from his work.
Does Ryan Seacrest skip surgery?
Once again, Ryan Seacrest talked about his knee problems. During a recent broadcast of Live with Kelly and Ryan, he shared that he kept backing out of getting knee surgery. As a result, he was not able to participate in an upcoming marathon. Ryan admitted that he was ignoring this important health problem.
He continued to push surgery “on the back burner.” This also caused him to cop out of this year’s marathon. His X-ray revealed that he has a flap tear of the meniscus, which causes the knee to lock. This also causes pain whenever one runs or kneels on the floor.
Shares concerning health news
Ryan Seacrest took to his Instagram Story to share shocking health news with his followers. He has to be in quarantine because he tested positive for COVID-19. The radio host doesn’t know how it took two years for him to catch the virus with all the work and traveling he’s been doing. However, he’s following strict health protocols.
“I don’t know how long I avoided it for so long but unfortunately I tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago and I’m currently in quarantine,” Ryan Seacrest wrote. “While I’m feeling the usual symptoms, I hope to make a quick recovery.”
In the meantime, he’s asking for TV and movie recommendations. Ryan would also love some “foodie shows.” Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery. Fans are wishing him well during this time.
