Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson‘s boyfriend Dralin Carswell is not winning any points on the internet. The young man made a bizarre appearance on TikTok, where he was seen in drag waving a wad of cash. The video was posted by a fan account that doesn’t seem affiliated with the 17-year-old reality star or her 21-year-old beau, per The Sun. However, it left viewers with a lot of questions. Not A Typical Night In
In the TikTok uploaded on Monday, Alana and Dralin were goofing off in front of the camera. The clip seemed harmless enough and started off with Honey Boo Boo lip-synching to GloRilla and Hitkidd’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” She wore fake long nails and a face full of makeup, including big, curled lashes.
The TLC star looked like she was having a blast in the clip, which showed her in the bathroom. It then transitioned to her boyfriend, who stood at the living room door. He had on Alana’s blond wig, which she debuted on Instagram just last week. He was also lip-synching and sported double nose piercings, just like Alana. A few seconds later, the camera panned down to reveal he was holding a stack of bills. This is where the video got weird, as he clearly flashed the cash to viewers.

Fans Can’t Get Enough Of Honey Boo Boo
Fans tuning in to watch the video seemed unfazed by Dralin in drag. Many thought the clip was hilarious and flooded the comments section with laughing emojis. To be fair, it did look like it was all in the spirit of fun, with the caption reading “we some city girls.” Nevertheless, some were puzzled by the whole thing for various reasons. One user asked the couple, “R u high??” while another requested subtitles in Spanish, saying they didn’t understand what was going on.
Followers also joked around that Alana “was done,” suggesting Dralin wore her wig better. Yet, the majority of comments were all about how “great” she looked, as fans discussed her recent hairstyle changes.
“She looks pretty ash now,” one person complimented her new hair color. They went on to talk about Alana’s glam: “She jus needed a lil highlight and more shape into her eyebrows. She looks good.”

This comes in the context of fans slamming Alana and Dralin’s relationship. Although there has been some support online, many people disprove Honey Boo Boo’s boyfriend because of their age gap. The 21-year-old has also seen backlash after it was revealed in July that he had been arrested for statutory rape.
In addition, people are not too thrilled that Alana looks so much older than 17. Her heavy makeup and fake lashes were recently criticized on Instagram. Fans have also expressed concern that the reality star has grown up too fast for her own good.
