Clues It’s Serious With Alana Thompson & Boyfriend Dralin Carswell?
Alana Thompson turned sixteen on last week’s episode of Mama June: Road to Redemption. This meant she could finally date which was great because she has a crush. Dralin Carswell is twenty and a guy she met through friends. So far, he seems to be a good guy and it appears to be going well. Yet, after one year, just how serious is serious?
Alana Thompson, Growing Up Before Everyone’s Eyes
It is hard for viewers to believe that this Alana is turning seventeen in August. She is best known as the little pageant tot on Toddlers and Tiaras. Her fun spunk and personality spawned the hit TLC reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo based on her nickname. The show revolved around her eclectic family which included her mom, three sisters, her father, and her fun uncle. Mama June was the head of the house and always had something to say while her sisters had their own spirited personalities. As for Alana, she could lighten any situation so as she started to grow up, it was hard. Being in the public eye is hard.
The series was canceled after four years and her parents, June and Sugar Bear had a very public separation. He had been unfaithful and that was the nail in the coffin. Luckily, June was about to undergo a major physical transformation so a new show was developed based around her. Of course, her girls came along for the ride so fans got to witness the evolution of Alana. They also watched the downfall of June and how Alana’s life was displaced, sending her to go live with her sister Pumpkin. Now, she has two great role models in Pumpkin and her husband Josh and a new love who makes her grin ear to ear.
Getting Their Serious On?
Alana Thompson was over the moon when Pumpkin surprised her with Dralin at her sixteenth birthday party. She had no idea any of her friends would be there. In fact, she had no idea that anyone even knew who Dralin was but she had left her phone on the counter and Pumpkin snuck a peek. She met up with him and quickly read him the riot act. Josh also let him know that he better treat Alana well or he was done. Now, they have been together for over a year and the whole family adores him. She was even seen wearing a ring on “that” finger which led to speculation that they were engaged.
Now, they have taken another big step. The two have created a joint TikTok account where they are asking to get to 100K. So far, they have no posts but around 80K followers. They do, however, share their PO Box so people can send them gifts and such. Seems like this is a sign that they are truly committed to one another.
