‘DWTS’ Fans Tear Into Tyra Over Landon Barker Apology Flub
DWTS fans were excited to see that Landon Barker was in the audience again. He has been there cheering on his girlfriend, Charli D’Amelio, and her partner, Mark Ballas. The TikTok and reality star has been crushing it every week with her partner, Mark Ballas. However, show host Tyra Banks almost killed Charli’s shining moment last week. She was giving a shout-out to Landon for being in the crowd. Yet, she accidentally referred to him as Logan. Fans were quick to call out Tyra for this snafu so she attempted to rectify it this week. Sadly, she failed once again and it was a moment that could not be ignored.
DWTS Fans Tear Into Tyra For Not Getting It Right
Last week, Landon was in the crowd with Charli’s family. Also in attendance were his father, Travis Barker, and Travis’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian. Not only was Charli’s sister, Dixie, who is also quite notable, glossed over but Tyra got Landon’s name completely wrong. Luckily, she had a second chance. He was back in the crowd this week for Disney+ night. Charli and her partner, Mark Ballas. They danced last, dressed in full-on The Simpsons gear.
After they danced their hearts out, Tyra decided she wanted to try to rectify the mistake she made the week prior. “I called your boyfriend Landon Barker and his name is Logan,” Tyra said. At that moment, Charli did the swap with her hands. Tyra realized she had made the mistake all over again. According to The Sun, fans took to Reddit to discuss this hot mess.
“Not Tyra calling Landon Logan again? Literally just read the screen it’s not that hard!” one commented. Another chimed in: “That was painful to watch I can’t stand her anymore.” Finally, someone had this to say: “Landon Logan? Come on!” It appears that fans cannot understand how Tyra just cannot do this simple job right.
No Love For The Host
It has been quite an adjustment for DWTS faithfuls since Tom Bergeron was axed from the series. Then, Tyra was brought in and she has not been as beloved. There has been a lot of criticism since she started, especially this season. She has flubbed over scores on the leaderboard and now the name situation is hard to overlook. Since Charli and Mark are on top of the leaderboard, they are likely to be around for some time. Therefore, she will have more chances to get Landon’s name right. The only question is, will she?
