According to TMZ, terrifying news broke earlier today when James’ mother, Lucienne, revealed that her son and his roommate, Nevin Dizdari, went for a hike and never returned. According to the DOOL star’s mother, James and his roommate were on vacation. They were staying at a resort in Kauai.
The staff at Hanalei Bay Resort confirmed James Lastovic and his roommate were making their way to Kokee State Park to hike on a long trail. The roommates also reportedly asked someone for directions to Shipwreck Beach near the cliff diving area. James’ mom continued to explain that her son and his roommate never returned to the resort on Sunday night after their hike. Likewise, their belongings were still in their room.
James Lastovic and his roommate were also driving a Black Nissan at the time they went missing. Lucienne explained there wasn’t any tracking on the vehicle and the police had yet to tell her if they had found the vehicle. The DOOL star’s mother told TMZ she was making arrangements to fly to Kauai so she could assist in the search for her son.

Within the past hour, Nevin Dizdari’s sister took to social media with some good news. The search had been called off. James Lastovic and his roommate were no longer missing.
My sister and James are okay, they got lost on their hike but made it back to their car and are on their way back to the resort now. Thank you everyone for reposting and helping us reach Nevin.”
