‘Bachelorette’ Clare Crawley Engaged!
It looks like Bachelorette Clare Crawley has finally found the love of her life! The star is now engaged to Ryan Dawkins. Keep reading to learn everything we know so far.
Bachelorette Clare Crawley is engaged
This weekend Clare Crawley and Ryan Dawkins made things official and decided to get engaged People reports. Apparently, Clare was not expecting this engagement at all right now. This does make sense considering the pair only met about a year ago and started out as friends. However, that doesn’t change how she feels about it – which seems to be very happy!
“I am over the moon!” Crawley says about the big news. “This was the last thing I expected right now, especially coming from where I was a year ago. It’s just been a serious journey, and Ryan has been by my side since the very beginning.”
She goes on to rave about just how great of a man Ryan is. She says that he is really just there for her heart.
“Really what he’s in it for is my heart, and he is so consistent and so vocal about how much he loves me. It is something I have never experienced. … It’s been such a gift having him in my life.”
Didn’t they just start dating?
This engagement likely comes as a shock to a lot of Bachelor Nation considering they actually only went Instagram official a month ago. However, a source reports that they kept things private for a while so that they could keep it special between them.
“Clare is dating Ryan Dawkins. They met about a year ago and started out as friends,” a source said once they were Instagram official. “She wanted to keep it private until she was ready to debut him as her new boyfriend. Close friends and family have known about it for a few months now but it was her secret to tell.”
Ryan is 45 years old and already a father. Currently, Ryan is the CEO of Mascot Sports, so clearly, he is also very career driven. It seems that this could be the perfect match for Clare who has struggled to find love in the past that will last. Hopefully, this works out for her!
