‘Today’ What Happened To Dylan Dreyer?

Dylan Dreyer has been absent from Today. Fans were looking forward to seeing her in the third hour of the morning show. When they learned that she wasn’t there, they took to social media to express their concern. Read on to learn more about her whereabouts.

Dylan Dreyer is still on vacation

According to her Instagram account, Dylan Dreyer is still on vacation. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she embarked on a family trip to Italy. The Today Show co-host has shared rare snapshots of her family members, including her son Russell. Their family has celebrated many milestones during their trip.

On Wednesday, October 5, Dylan posted even more photos from their latest adventures. So far, they traveled between Tuscany and Rome. The first photo features her father and her husband Brian Fichera sitting on either side of Russell. She shared plenty of close-ups of her family eating fine Italian food. Some of the snapshots included Dylan eating spaghetti and her mom drinking wine.

“Eat. Drink. Repeat,” Dylan Dreyer captioned the Instagram post. “Wish we could do this forever!!”

Some of her Today fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them agreed that this is the happiest that Dylan has looked in a while. Others were in awe of the sweet photos of baby Rusty. There were also some who just loved the candid family photos.

“I could look at these pictures all day long❤️ You all look so happy! Cherish these beautiful memories!” one user wrote.

“So so fun!! LOVED gramma drinking straight out of the Vino bottle 😂😍( I’m guessing that’s gramma 🤷🏻‍♀️)” another added.

Dylan has been away with her family for much of the month. Before she left, Dylan told her followers: “A family trip to Rome turned out to be a great idea!” Seeing by these latest Instagram posts, it’s doing everyone some good. They get to enjoy quality time and learn about Italian culture.

Why the Today host went away

This trip meant something special for Dylan Dreyer. She wanted to celebrate some special moments with her family. The Italian vacation was made in honor of her and her husband’s 10-year anniversary. The couple also celebrated Dylan’s first birthday and Brian’s parents’ birthday and 50-year wedding anniversary.

Dylan has a lot to celebrate as well. She released her children’s book, Misty the Cloud: Friends Through Rain or Shine on September 13, 2022. This is the second book in the Misty the Cloud series. Earlier this year, Dylan moved from Today’s weekend broadcast to the weekday edition.
