‘Today’ Fans Rave Over Dylan Dreyer’s Latest Achievement
With three children and a demanding job at one of the biggest news networks, life can be hectic. However, it seems like the Today show’s Dylan Dreyer is making the best out of it! The meteorologist recently celebrated her 41st birthday and even shared news of an important career move.
Dylan Dreyer Shares An Adorable Video Of Her Children
The 3rd Hour anchor took to Instagram to celebrate her big day with a cute video that had fans gushing. The video showed her kids singing happy birthday to her, after which she also announced that her children’s book was nominated for an award.

Specifically, the lead character of her children’s book named, Misty the Cloud, is in the race for ‘Favorite Illustrated Character’ in the Children’s Book Council’s 2022 Kids’ Book Choice Awards. Dreyer wrote, “She’s up against some incredible characters, but I know she’d love your vote.”
In another Instagram post, the Today meteorologist detailed the way she spent her special day. She captioned the post, “A serenade, a day of golf, a cake, and a plaza sing-a-long of Happy Birthday. Bot sure it gets much better than that!!”
“Thank you all for the birthday wishes and for making this 41-year-old feel really special!!!” she continued.

As per The Sun, the post had videos that showed her precious children wishing their mom on her birthday. Oliver George Fichera and Russell James hit the drums in a beautiful rhythm while blowing on a trumpet as they sang ‘Happy Birthday.’
Fans Praise Dreyer For Her New Children’s Book
As per the Amazon description, Dreyer’s new children’s book, Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day, is about “a little cloud with big feelings.”
The official description reads:
“When Misty the Cloud wakes up feeling stormy, nothing seems to make her day better! And Misty’s grumbly mood affects everyone when her big emotions cause a thunderstorm to rumble across the sky. Talking about how good the book is, one fan wrote, “As a former elementary reading teacher for grades K-2, I would encourage all parents of those ages to buy and read this book to/with your children. They’ll LOVE it!”
“I bought this for my granddaughter, and they read it every night,” added another.
A third congratulated the 41-year-old and said, “Congrats to get a book published in an achievement- to win awards, AMAZING.”
She also celebrated her birthday with a cake & champagne alongside her co-hosts, Craig Melvin and Al Roker.
