DWTS fans love watching Hallmark actor Trevor Donovan compete this year. When the season began, Trevor made it clear that the thought of dancing terrified him. But now, his partner Emma Slater has turned him into quite a force on the dance floor. They’re one of 13 couples still in the competition. Can they take home the Mirrorball Trophy this year?

Fans also noticed that Trevor and Emma have amazing chemistry on the dance floor. Could it be just a showmance or something more?

Emma and her fellow dancer Sasha Farber are going through a divorce at the moment. Some fans think Sasha is having a hard time watching Emma get so close to Trevor. No matter how he feels inside, Sasha is opting to keep things cool and professional. Keep reading to see what he had to say.

DWTS pro Sasha Farber details his feelings on actor Trevor Donovan

Both Sasha and Emma are seasoned DWTS pros. They fell in love on the show and even got engaged during a live taping. After four years of marriage, they announced their separation over the summer. Emma went to Europe with her family while Sasha stayed with their dogs.

Even amid the split, the two decided they would put their careers first and stay professional. They choreographed together during So You Think You Can Dance in the summer and then both decided to do DWTS in the fall.

As DWTS continues, fans are watching each contest grow and improve. But how does Sasha really feel about Emma’s new partner?

“There are definitely a lot of dark horses, and Trevor [Donovan] came in this competition being afraid to dance,” Sasha Farber told Us Weekly this week. “That’s, like, the main thing you wouldn’t do if you’re afraid to dance, is do a dance show. And he’s firing on all cylinders. He’s doing phenomenal.”

He went on to say that even as a trained dancer, Charli D’Amelio continues to learn and improve every week. He thinks she will go far, but there could be another major upset this year.

“The best dancer doesn’t always win,” the 38-year-old dancer said. “It’s a race, and it’s long. It’s a marathon. So, I think everyone has their own little advantages and disadvantages.”

Likewise, Emma Slater had plenty of kind things to say about Sasha and his partner Selma Blair.

“To look at her and to say she’s an inspiration is an understatement,” Emma told the press. “She is just magical to me.”

The couple takes the high road amid the breakup

Sasha and Emma may be going through a breakup right now, but they’re both handling the situation very professionally.

“They’re pros and won’t let their personal life get in the way of DWTS,” an insider reportedly told Us Weekly over the summer.

DWTS fans can catch Emma and Trevor dancing the Samba to “Life Is a Highway” from Cars on Disney+ Night. Sasha and Selma will perform the Quickstep to “The Muppet Show Theme” from The Muppet Show. If you want both of these amazing couples to stay, you need to vote for them!

Tune into DWTS this Monday night at 8 PM eastern time and don’t miss a second of their performances.
