‘The Bachelor’ 2023 Premiere Date Revealed
Zach Shallcross was announced as the new lead for the 2023 season of The Bachelor. Fans learned Zach would be the new lead on Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s dramatic After the Final Rose. Host Jesse Palmer even introduced Zach to five of the women who will be competing for his heart in the upcoming season. Zach’s season actually began filming last Monday night on September 26. So, when can fans expect to see the new season premiere on ABC?
The premiere date for The Bachelor 2023 announced
When can fans expect to see Zach Shallcross begin his journey on television? Normally, the season premiere of The Bachelor begins airing on the first Monday of the new year. However, this season is going to be different.
Fans will not be seeing Zach look for his future bride until Monday, January 23. Jesse Palmer actually gave the premiere date at the end of After the Final Rose.
The delay could be due to NFL games still taking place on Monday nights. The football games were the reason The Bachelorette was moved to Tuesday nights for the remaining few weeks of Gabby and Rachel’s season.
Plus, Bachelor in Paradise is also airing on Tuesday nights for the same reason. However, it looks like once the Monday night games end for the season, The Bachelor will be returning to normal Monday nights on ABC.
Is Zach ready for marriage?
Fans first met Zach Shallcross as he tried to win Rachel’s heart last season. However, he ended up eliminating himself after fantasy suite dates saying Rachel was different behind closed doors.
She also questioned if he was truly ready for marriage. Zach says he is absolutely ready to be married to the love of his life. This is exactly the reason he decided to take the lead role on The Bachelor.
After the situation with Rachel, People shared Zach’s reaction to her questioning if he was ready for marriage. He said, “I don’t think that there’s anything where there’s an age limit on when you decide you want to fall in love and get married, he said. “If you are ready and you feel well equipped with yourself, you love yourself, you trust yourself and you want to share that with someone else, it doesn’t matter how old you are.”
