‘Saturday Night Live’: Cecily Strong Missing From Opening Credits?
Saturday Night Live Season 47 marked an end to some of the popular cast member’s journeys that include Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Pete Davidson, and Kyle Mooney. However, in September, another four stars, Melissa Villasenor, Alex Moffat, Chris Redd, and Aristotle Athari, bid adieu to the show. Despite these 8 names not being on the show anymore, 13 SNL stars are still coming back for Season 48. However, as the latest season premiered on October 1, 2022, there was a popular face missing and fans are now worried!

Well, fans don’t have to worry about Cecily leaving the show anytime soon. As per TVLine, the SNL actress isn’t a part of the latest opening credits that were filmed in New York. This has sparked speculations among fans that think that the 38-year-old might not be a part of the show anymore. However, she is just M.I.A. given her alternative commitments 3000 miles away.
Cecily Strong Is Starring In A One-Woman Show
Cecily is headlining the show The Search For Signs Of Intelligent Life In The Universe that is scheduled to run at the L.A.’s Mark Taper Forum until October 23, 2022.

The one-woman show is directed by Leigh Silverman and produced by Lorne Michaels, the SNL bossman. Once this show is wrapped up, Cecily will be back on SNL marking her 10th season on the comedy sketch series. While SNL is down eight members, four talented artists are also joining the series. This includes Molly Kearney, Devon Walker, Marcello Hernandez, and Michael Longfellow.

Cecily Strong Has Two Emmy Nominations For Saturday Night Live
Strong has been a popular name among fans and has received back-to-back Emmy nominations in 2020 and 2021 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. This was for her work on Saturday Night Live. Apart from this comedy sketch series, Strong has also been a part of Apple TV+’s popular 2021 musical series, Schmigadoon!
