Kelly Ripa got candid on her Botox use. Earlier this week, she made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Kelly admitted whether she or Ryan gets Botox done the most. The talk show host has candidly talked about her love for the cosmetic procedure.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kelly clapped back at the critics who slammed her for getting injections. Initially, she got Botox to help treat her sweaty underarms. Then, she decided to try it on her forehead and other areas of her face, and she has been hooked ever since. Kelly opened up about the cosmetic procedure once again.
Kelly Ripa admits to Botox use
Host Andy Cohen wanted to know who uses the most Botox: Kelly Ripa or Ryan Seacrest. She joined the clubhouse this week to promote her new book, Live Wire: Long Winded Short Stories. Andy couldn’t help but notice how much she talks about Botox in her new book. He wanted to know which Live co-host is guilty of using it more.
“Oh, definitely me. I don’t think he does Botox and if he does, he and I should talk about it,” Kelly Ripa admitted.
She loves to speak candidly about her life. It’s what inspired her to write her memoir. Kelly also shares intimate details of her marriage to husband Mark Consuelos. During her interview on WWHL, she also talked about their steamy romps.
Who would co-host besides Ryan Seacrest?
Kelly Ripa has co-hosted the morning show with many celebrities over the years. Ryan Seacrest is her current co-host who sits next to her on Live With Kelly and Ryan. The American Idol host joined the show in 2017 after Michael Strahan’s dramatic exit. The two have gotten along ever since.
However, some fans think Kelly Ripa is rude to Ryan. They don’t like it when she slams him or cuts him off from talking. On Thursday’s broadcast of Watch What Happens Live, Andy had to ask her if she had other choices for co-hosts during that time. She shared that the selection took a year before Ryan started on the show.
“It’s so much a deeper discussion, and it has so little, actually, to do with me,” Kelly Ripa admitted.
Some of those choices included longtime friends and television hosts, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper. Kelly joked that she loves her “ACs.” She also considered her “MC,” which is her husband Mark Consuelos. At the time, he was filming in California and Vancouver.
Kelly Ripa would’ve loved having a female co-host. This is an idea that she wanted to try out. The 51-year-old said she would’ve chosen one “in a heartbeat.” She likes the idea of two women co-hosting a talk show.
“That way they can share the blame,” Kelly Ripa joked.
