‘Celebrity WoF’: Pat Sajak Jokes About Twitter Controversy?

Pat Sajak popped off at trolls amid the Twitter controversy. The joke took place during the latest episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Earlier this month, Sajak went viral on Twitter after a photo of him with Georgia congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene made headlines.

It’s unclear when the photo first originated. However, Sajak showed his appreciation for the Republican politician. This angered Wheel of Fortune fans who threatened to quit the show. The classic game show premiered its spinoff Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which airs on ABC primetime.

The Wheel of Fortune host found him at the center of Twitter controversy. Normally, Pat Sajak creates controversy with just his tweets about the economy and climate change. Little did he know that a photo of him with MTG would cause a reaction. Several Twitter accounts from WoF fans re-tweeted the photo, making it go viral.

Sajak was photographed with Greene and conservative reporter Bryan Glenn. The photo went viral one weekend earlier this September and fans were livid. Most of them tweeted their own thoughts while re-posting the picture. They took the photo as a sign of Sajak’s support for Greene in light of the midterm elections.

As you can see, most of the Wheel of Fortune fans is disappointed. Since then, they have been vowing to boycott Season 40. Premiere week went with many hitches, some of which puzzled fans. There was a racist puzzle board that had many of them in a tailspin.

Pat Sajak pops off at trolls?

Once again, Pat Sajak is popping off at the trolls. He made a joke in light of his viral Twitter photo. Fans still haven’t forgotten about that photo of him with Greene. On Thursday’s broadcast of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Tiki Barber, Lauren Ash, and Jim Jeffries played for the charity of their choice.

Jim guessed a puzzle that coincidentally said, “What are they tweeting about me now?”

WoF fans were shocked to see the puzzle revealed. Interestingly enough, Sajak didn’t say anything more about the puzzle. He just let the board speak for itself as he smiled at the camera. This episode comes just weeks after the controversy took place on the social media app.
