‘Jeopardy!’ Ken Jennings Makes Fun Of Contestant?
This is the first time Ken Jennings is filming with a live audience as a host and he is just as quick and witty as seen in Season 38. The new permanent host tested his wits and poked fun at a Jeopardy! contestant in the latest episode. What did he say? Keep reading to find out the scoop!
Jeopardy! Contestant Has A Bizarre Plan For His Prize Money
Just like every other Jeopardy! contestant, Navid Mehrjou also has plans for what he would do with his winnings after the show. However, what he said was something that surprised the host and the viewers alike.
Revealing Navid’s weird plans, Ken chimed in, “Many Jeopardy contestants come on the show with a plan on what they would do with their winnings but Navid Mehrjou has one I’ve never heard before…”

Before the host could complete his statement, Navid jumped in, “Ken, I don’t understand why this isn’t something you’ve heard before. I would love to go on a murder mystery cruise if I win.”
“Is there a specific type of murder mystery cruise?” asked the host.
Navid answered, “The Golden Girls had an episode back in the day where the ladies went to a hotel and it was a murder mystery… and it was amazing. And that has made me want to take a murder mystery cruise.”

As the audience chuckled at the contestant’s answer, Ken quipped, “The Golden Girls have determined the course of your life, perhaps?”
“In this endeavor and many others,” replied Navid as he looked away while the crowd kept laughing.
Jeopardy! Introduces An Unconventional Category
However, this isn’t the only weird instance that happened on the show. On Tuesday, the show makers experimented with a weird category that didn’t sit well with fans. Although the game show has had some interesting categories in the past, the one they had on Wednesday was weird and catered to the Gen-Z crowd.

Named ‘Current Slang’, the category had some weird clues that got some cryptic answers like:
- “Thirsty”
- “Gucci”
- “Emo”
- “Snatched”
- “Yeet”
As per The Sun, the makers even proudly confirmed that they ditched the dictionary for this new category in an Instagram post they shared.
The post read, “Move over Urban Dictionary, we got this one.”
Jeopardy! Shares An Inappropriate Clue On Daily Double
Another weird thing happened on the show when Jeopardy! displayed an NSFW clue during the Daily Double segment. Although it was meant to be a dinosaur bone illustration, it looked similar to something inappropriate. Fans quickly flocked to Reddit to discuss more of the clue as the OG noted, “Y’alls brains go the same place mine did?”

A fourth hilariously swapped the NSFW acronym for “NSFJ” where the J stood for Jeopardy!
