Fans Say ‘The Kardashians’ Can’t Be Saved, Demand Truth
Season 2 of The Kardashians just began on Thursday. Though it was one of the most trending premieres, it may not have been the most entertaining. Fans are coming after the show for a bevy of reasons, some even claiming it has become boring and disingenuous. Read on to find out more details on what viewers had to say about the lackluster season premiere.
The Kardashians Fail To Deliver, According To Fans
Season 2 promised a rollercoaster of emotions and the premiere was no exception. As Khloe Kardashian prepared to welcome her second child via surrogate, the family rallied around her. Her circumstances were less than desirable as she and her ex, Tristan Thompson had done the embryo transfer days prior to his infidelity coming to light. She claimed she felt some pressure to do the transfer by a certain date. Khloe and her family were soon blindsided by learning Tristan was expecting a baby with another woman. In the end, she went home with her new baby boy but felt ill-prepared to go it alone.
Despite all of this happening, fans could not help but feel something was missing from Season 2. According to The Sun, fans called Khloe and her sister Kylie Jenner out. They felt that the two were not being their true selves in the premiere. Furthermore, viewers said the show was “boring, scripted, and fake.” One fan noted: “The ratings would skyrocket if they started being real again. Khloe, we want to see you and Malika cussing Tristan the hell out at the dinner table at the very least.”
They went on to add: “Kylie, tell us what it’s like being a rapper’s baby mama and having two kids with a man that’s never there. I think it would be both liberating for them to voice their true feelings and make them relatable again. F**k these fake boring scenes, give us the real tea!” Another chimed in to say: “They are in their flop era. Nothing they can do now will bring them back.”
Everyone Under Attack
It is not just Kylie and Khloe who were under attack for the first episode of The Kardashians. Fans also felt that Kim Kardashian’s speech at Khloe’s baby shower was forced and fake. When she shed a tear, fans alleged that it was CGI: “She doesn’t touch it! That’s a fake tear!” However, there are those diehard Kardashian fans who will stand by everything the family does, which is always sweet to see. Yet, some were confused as to the timeline of the premiere. It literally picked up right where Season 1 ended then ended with Khloe welcoming her baby.
Some believe this could be to garner more viewers. On the other hand, it could be a way to distract from the fact that Kim’s now-ex, Pete Davidson has pretty much been erased from this season. He was supposed to play a decent-sized role and it appears he won’t even see the light. That is another problem with the show being fake. Viewers want to see their real lives and that includes breakups. This is one heartbreak that will stay on the cutting room floor.
