Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney shared an update about Something About Her. In Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, they teased the idea of opening their own sandwich shop. It was their response to Schwartz & Sandy’s. However, fans didn’t like the name of their business venture.

Most agreed that it sounded like a lingerie shop. Katie has been through a lot in the past few months. She’s still in the midst of a divorce from her estranged husband Tom Schwartz. Yet, that didn’t stop her from moving forward with their business plans.

Ahead of Tom Sandoval & Tom Schwartz?

It looks like Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are ahead of Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, who have yet to open Schwartz & Sandy’s as of yet. While the Toms focused on their second lounge, Katie and Ariana wanted to open an establishment of their own. The ladies had a feeling they were better at business than their partners.

As fans recall, Katie argued with Sandoval about the name of Schwartz & Sandy’s. She thought it was ridiculous and wasn’t as personal as the men claimed it to be. Katie also tried to share input about the business. However, that was always met with a stern “No” from Sandoval.

Ariana Madix agreed with Katie when it came to making business decisions. One day, they came up with the idea of their dream business. They discovered that they shared the same idea for a feminine sandwich shop for women with signature drinks and a sophisticated style. Ariana asked Katie if she could join her and the rest is history.

Katie wanted to open a location in the San Fernando area of Los Angeles. No matter where the location is, they want to focus on representing female businesses. That’s an important component of their restaurant.

Ariana Madix & Katie Maloney have a sandwich tasting

Last weekend, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney had a tasting event for their upcoming sandwich shop. Their friend Kristina Kelly and Lala Kent attended the event. Both of the ladies posted clips and photos from the sandwich tasting. The occasion looked chic and classy — just like what they imagined.

Even Ariana Madix and Katie were dressed up for the event. Ariana wore a floral print blouse with dark green pants and beige heels. Meanwhile, Katie wore a gold silk dress with rhinestone-heeled sandals. They stood alongside a board that read, “Something About Her Los Angeles.”

Another photo featured a bouquet of flowers with orange cocktails and sandwiches wrapped in elegant paper. Lala even shared a photo of herself posting with one of the sandwiches on her Instagram Story. It looks like these two are one step closer to getting their business in gear.
