The 51-year-old is getting ready for the release of her new book, Live Wire, which drops on Tuesday, September 27. She’s been sharing its journey with her fans on Instagram.

On Thursday, September 15, the Live With Kelly and Ryan star took to Instagram to talk about the upcoming release. Kelly Ripa wore a robe that had shades of peach, black, and white in it. “My book tour is less than two weeks away, and we are kicking it off in my home state,” Kelly Ripa reminded her followers. “And we want you — yes, you — to come join us for a night of fun. It’s gonna be a lot of laughs.”

Unfortunately, she’s reportedly struggled to sell tickets for her book tour. While there are only three stops, there haven’t been many bites. However, Kelly has been getting a buzz on social media for her new memoir. For instance, fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts about seeing what she has to say about her life.

Former All My Children star embarks on her tour

Since then, Kelly Ripa has embarked on her tour. On Wednesday, September 21, she took to her Instagram Story to share several clips from her first stop. She joked that she was “Trying to sign my name legibley [SIC].” Kelly wore a black floral print dress as she wrote, “XO Kelly Ripa” on a copy of her book.

In another clip, she joked that this could be an “ASMR” video. Her followers could hear the former soap star writing her name across the page in permanent marker. It’s kind of soothing if you listen closely. The first stop of her Live Wire book tour also includes an appearance with the Riverdale actor.
