Kelly Ripa Writes About Steamy Romps With Hubby In New Book?

Kelly Ripa plans share a lot about her life. Her upcoming memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories, will drop on September 23. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kelly broke her silence about Regis Philbin’s retirement. Just like when her former co-host Michael Strahan left the show, she also felt bitter about Regis leaving.

However, she claimed there was no bad blood between them. Kelly invited Regis back on the show during the Halloween episode. The two were in touch until his passing. The former soap star continues to share more stories about her life, including an explicit one that didn’t go over well with her hubby.

Mark Consuelos wanted explicit detail removed

It’s no secret that Kelly Ripa loves to share the details of her marriage with Mark Consuelos. However, the Riverdale star asked her to remove a passage about their marriage. It was about a transition period in their relationship. Mark wasn’t happy that Kelly mentioned it.

In an interview with Haute Living, Kelly gave readers a sneak peek at her first-ever book. She shared the explicit details of her bedroom activities with Mark. There have been rumors that the two have wild romps. She shared an X-rated detail about how he’s “such a c***sman that he made me pass out.”

Kelly called it the “best chapter.” Yet, her husband didn’t feel the same way. He wanted her to remove the passages from the book. Mark didn’t want everyone to know all the details of their bedroom activities.

“There was only one chapter that he told me I could never, ever put into that book or any book, and I took it out,” Kelly Ripa told Haute Living. “I respected him, I respected it, and I was like, ‘I hear you, even though it’s the best chapter. I’ll honor your request to take it out. It was about a transition period in our marriage.”

The 51-year-old wanted to talk about their “empty-nest transition.” The couple has made use of their quality time now that their adult kids are out of the house. They recently went on a steamy beach vacation to the Hamptons. She didn’t want to share anymore in that interview case Mark would get upset.

Kelly Ripa still shares steamy stories in new read

Kelly Ripa and Mark got married in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony in 1996. The two met on the set of All My Children in 1995. Their whirlwind romance was filled with love and passion. Kelly did mention the “passing out” part, which happened in 1997.

It took place six months after the birth of their first child. Kelly and Mark had a steamy early morning session in bed. The actress admitted that she briefly lost consciousness, but it was not because of Mark’s prowess. It’s because there were two large cysts growing over her ovaries.

“There is he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice,” Kelly Ripa wrote. “Mark could be at a movie or a spa. Instead, I’m flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst.”

She was rushed to the hospital. That’s when Kelly realized that Mark “dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need.” She wore a French-cut leotard and Manolo Blahniks. The producer joked that she thought she “was having a nightmare.”
