Jenny McCarthy Reveals Her Favorite ‘Masked Singer’ Moments

Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg - YouTube/The Masked Singer

The Masked Singer returns this week for a brand-new season with some big changes coming. However, one thing that won’t change is innovative costumes for celebrities. In that area, there have been some great ones over the past seven seasons, and Jenny McCarthy has listed her favorite

Here is a look at Jenny McCarthy’s favorite moments from The Masked Singers‘ first seven seasons.

T-Pain, The Monster mask

The first thing that Jenny McCarthy mentioned in the video was T-Pain singing as The Monster in the first season. She mentioned how the show was so new in the first season, and to hear such a “beautiful” voice coming from a monster was something that brought tears to the panel’s eyes.

That first season had 12 singers performing. T-Pain won by singing songs by Queen (“Don’t Stop Me Now”), Gavin Degraw (“I Don’t Want to Be”), Lenny Kravitz (“American Woman”), Joan Jett (“I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”), Sam Smith (“Stay With Me”), and Montell Jordan (“This is How We Do It”). With the new format of The Masked Singer, there is little chance we get to hear so many songs from one singer again.

T-Pain was unmasked as the winner after outlasting singers including Donny Osmond, Gladys Knight, and Joey Fatone.

Jenny McCarthy’s Golden Ear Trophies

Jenny McCarthy also bragged about how many Golden Ear trophies she had earned onĀ The Masked Singer. This goes to the panelist who has the most correct first impression guesses at the end of the season. Jenny picked up the Golden Ear in the fourth and fifth seasons.

Donnie Wahlberg unmasking on The Masked Singer

Finally, Jenny said that her favorite moment came when her husband Donny Wahlberg was unmasked in The Masked Singer. This happened in Season 5, and to keep things fair, he never told Jenny he was doing it, and it came as a complete surprise to her when he unmasked.

However, Donnie wasn’t a contestant that season. Instead, he was a non-contestant called Cluedly-Doo, where he added clues for each singer in the episodes. He then showed up in the semifinal to perform a song himself. He sang “Return of the Mack” by Mark Morrison and then unmasked to shock his wife, who said she never recognized his voice.

The Masked Singer returning for Season 8

The Masked Singer returns this week, and it will be bigger than ever. There will be 22 contestants this season competing, which is the most ever. However, this also means fans won’t get to see much of their favorites as every week will be a double-elimination before moving on to the next batch. Hopefully, there will still be great moments.
