Meghan McCain Expecting Second Baby, Shares Gender
Former The View co-host Meghan McCain’s family is expanding. She and her husband Ben Domenech are expecting their second child together. They shared the good news with DailyMail.com. Meghan and Ben are already parents to a daughter, Liberty who is nearly two. So, when is the baby due and what are they having this time around? Read on for more details.
Meghan McCain’s Second Baby Will Be…
Welcoming her daughter, Liberty in 2020 was one of the best moments of Meghan’s life. She had suffered a miscarriage previously so this turned everything around for her. Now, she is preparing to share her love times two. Meghan broke the news to DailyMail.com, where she currently contributes. Furthermore, she confirmed the gender of baby number two. “Ben and I feel so blessed that we will be adding a new member to our family this winter, a baby sister for our daughter Liberty!”
As for how far along she is, Meghan was very open about that detail, as well. “We are more than halfway to meeting our newest daughter and we couldn’t be more excited.” The daughter of the late Senator, John and Cindy McCain has seamlessly fallen into parenting. She admits that everyone in her family is excited about their growing family. More so, she has had a blast since Liberty was born and referred to motherhood as “euphoria.” However, it was actually her journey to baby which led to her departure from The View.
Too Much Toxicity, Not Enough Support
Coming onto The View was definitely a challenge but she was ready for whatever would come her way. Though she knew Joy Behar could be difficult, Meghan hoped they could work through it all. After suffering a miscarriage, Meghan McCain was over the moon to learn she was having her rainbow baby. She then took time off to enjoy her new daughter Liberty. Unfortunately, returning was harder than she anticipated.
Joy noted that nobody missed her and that essentially, she should have stayed home. It broke Meghan’s heart and she just broke down. Furthermore, she claimed that she never felt like anyone on the show supported her during or after her pregnancy. Thus, she left the toxic environment after several years as a co-host. Since then, Sherri Shepherd, who was also a co-host, claimed she and Meghan were not close. Yet, the two never even worked together. Meghan quickly clapped back at her claims.
It’s clear to see that Meghan and her family are in a far better and happier place than they have ever been. Her rainbow baby is now approaching two and she has another little girl on the way. She still stands strong in her beliefs and her family is by her side. Are you happy to see Meghan thrive? Let us know in the comments.
