Ryan Long shared what makes him sweat. The Jeopardy! champ is heading back to the game show to film Tournament of Champions. Ryan admitted that he “isn’t nervous” about competing once again. He already had a long run during Season 38, which wrapped up on July 31.

Season 39 of Jeopardy! kicks off Monday, September 12 with permanent host Ken Jennings. He will host the game show until December 30, 2022. Ryan shared a clue on social media that he’s heading there time for the season premiere. Even though he lost because he lost steam during his final week, the 40-year-old isn’t concerned about the outcome.

Jeopardy! champ feels confident about ToC

On Friday, September 9, Ryan Long took to Twitter to share an update with his fans. He revealed what really makes him sweat. According to the rideshare driver, the quiz show is nothing compared to this milestone moment. Ryan was more concerned about his son heading back to school.

“Pressure of going back to Cali < Pressure of getting the kid through the first week of school #jeopardy,” Ryan Long tweeted.

Fans took to his tweet to share their support. One user wrote: “You’re gonna kick butt in both. Good luck, Ryan!” A second fan assured him: “You can handle it, Ryan. I’ve seen you in tougher scrapes on Final Jeopardy. :-)” Another added: “Rooting for you! And Amy… so rooting for the both of you… yay!”

Twenty-one champs will return to play on ToC. They will compete against each other for a grand prize of $250,000. This comes amid the news of the spinoffs and specials that Jeopardy! has in the works. They want to make the popular game show a sporting event for brainiacs.

Ryan Long sunbathes shirtless

Last week, Ryan Long took to Twitter to post a new selfie. He prepared for his time on the show in the sunshine. Ryan posted a photo of himself shirtless with sunglasses. He had a little gray stubble this time around.

“It took some working up, but I finally took my shirt off at a beach,” Ryan Long wrote. “The other patrons were grateful for the shade I provided…though they might’ve preferred to have sun glare in their eyes instead. No sign of Greenpeace… #fitnessjourney.”

Fans loved the body positivity statement. Most of them applauded Ryan for flaunting his body. Others got a kick out of his humor. “You crack me up. Have some fun!” one fan wrote. “Us big guys should have no shame in soaking up the sun!” a second user told him.

“Be proud, Ryan! Don’t allow anyone to body-shame you…especially you. We’re all beautiful creatures. Soak up the rays!” wrote a third user.
