Katie Bates Debuts Darker Hair For Fall: See Before & After Photos
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates Clark has a fresh hair color for fall. She went a little darker than her typical bright blonde. Keep reading to take a look at her gorgeous transformation.
If you’ve been a Bates fan for a long time, you might know that Katie’s natural hair isn’t blonde. On older episodes of Bringing Up Bates, she had light brown hair. But today, she and several of the other Bates girls have changed up their looks.
With fall right around the corner, Katie Bates took to her Instagram Stories and asked fans for their input on what she should do with her hair next. She thought about sticking with the bright blonde, but she also considered going a bit darker.

On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Katie gave fans a look behind the scenes as she got her hair done. She shared a snap as she sat in a salon chair. She called her stylist “the best.”

After her hair was all finished, Katie Bates shared a couple of before and after shots with fans, which you can check out below. She didn’t do anything too drastic but her hair is darker than it was before.
Her stylist also added pretty waves to her hair.
Katie was proud to show it off to fans, so it looks like she’s happy with her new look.
Below, you can get another look at Katie Bates’ new hair color. Though it’s darker overall, there are still several bright blonde pieces throughout. She may share more photos of her new look soon.
Fans will have to wait and see what Katie Bates does with her hair next. She may keep the darker look for a few months and go lighter again when spring or summer arrives. Her first baby is due in March, so she may opt for a low-maintenance hair color as she adjusts to having a new little one. She may not want to deal with a lot of upkeep.
